How we make what we sell

We make two kinds of things: ebooks and crochet patterns. They come together differently, so here's how each one actually gets made.

• Ebooks

  Researched, written, edited

  Every title starts with a simple question: what does the reader actually need from this book?

  1. We pick a topic people are already looking for help with.
  2. We research it and write it up in plain language.
  3. It gets an editing pass before it goes on sale as a PDF.

• Crochet patterns

  Found, worked out, written up

  Most patterns start with a piece we spotted online and thought other people would want to make.

  1. We find a finished piece we like — a bag, a blanket, a toy.
  2. We crochet it ourselves to work out the stitches and yarn amounts.
  3. We write it up row by row, with materials and abbreviations included.
